Public-interest association

Kindness as a force for action.

Founded in Pau in 2021, Benvivo works toward a sustainable way of living better together through four main themes: economy, ecology, society, and health.

What is kindness?

A relational ethic that transforms how we decide and act.

Kindness is genuine attention to others, grounded in respect, empathy, and a willingness to support. It goes beyond politeness to become a demanding way of relating to one another.

In leadership and governance, it directs decisions toward the common good and creates a climate of trust, cooperation, and mutual respect.

Faced with environmental, social, and health crises, it becomes a lever for collective resilience and the transformation of social and institutional dynamics.

Our missions

A societal commitment expressed through three missions.

All of Benvivo’s missions align with the Sustainable Development Goals and carry a deeply humanist project in the face of fear and uncertainty.

01

Awaken awareness

Engage today’s and tomorrow’s leaders and decision-makers to advance health, quality of work life, and the natural environment at a territorial level.

02

Create lasting harmony

Evolve management and governance to develop a sustainable way of living better together across every form of organization.

03

Promote kindness

Establish kindness as an essential factor in performance, trust, cooperation, and sustainability.

What we believe in

Four convictions that keep us on course.

The living world as a source of care and responsibility
01

Respect for the living world

Respect nature, people, cultures, traditions, history, previous generations, and the commitments we make.

02

Cooperation

Challenge ideas, listen to different viewpoints, and collectively build more ambitious responses.

03

Ethics

Act honestly toward ourselves, others, nature, and our environment, guided by quality of work life, social responsibility, and the SDGs.

04

Gratitude

Know how to give thanks, appreciate what life offers us, and turn recognition into care and commitment.

Collective action guided by cooperation
Our compass

The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Adopted in 2015 by the 193 United Nations Member States, the 2030 Agenda brings together 17 SDGs and 169 targets. Through its cross-cutting approach, Benvivo contributes to the six priorities of France’s roadmap.

  1. 01

    Act for a just transition

  2. 02

    Transform societal models

  3. 03

Build on lifelong education and training

  4. 04

Act for everyone’s health and well-being

  5. 05

Enable effective citizen participation in achieving the SDGs

  6. 06

Build sustainable transformation in Europe and internationally

Two complementary structures

Act, bring people together, and provide lasting support.
